16-Line Poem: Into The Fire

The trees rustle,
And my heart aches,
Armour tears at my muscle,
And my bones start to break,

I'll always resent,
My filthy decision,
I can't give consent,
To the painful incision,

A low cackle,
From the depths of memory,
Seems to escape me,
And I feel free,

I throw myself up,
Into the fire,
While my captor's scream
I fulfill my desire.
