16-Line Poem: Numb

You resist death,
Yet never say why,
Such a bittersweet end,
Yet you fail to comply,

You and your friends,
Seem to think the same,
Defenders of life,
Defenders of shame,

The best of luck,
To your moments of glee,
Before you know it,
They'll be moments of shrieks,

I hope you enjoy this,
Before you succumb,
To a life so empty,
To a life so numb.

16-Line Poem: Silent Essence

A world of bleak,
Empty lies,
I try to stay meek,
In a sea of sighs,

The proper folk,
In my presence,
Try to revoke,
My silent essence,

I scream out my lungs,
I scream down the hall,
I can't feel my tongue,
I hear nothing at all,

My head hits the floor,
And I let out a gasp,
The horror, the horror,
I've broken the clasp...

16-Line Poem: The Sky Goes Red

Moon, moon,
What shall I do?
I've no time to mull,
My terrible gloom,

For just today,
An epiphany,
Was clear to me,
My destiny,

So I look into nothing,
Now knowing the truth,
I long to feel something,
My soul comes loose,

So I hang my head,
And release a cry,
The sky turns red,
Oh why, oh why...

16-Line Poem: Into The Fire

The trees rustle,
And my heart aches,
Armour tears at my muscle,
And my bones start to break,

I'll always resent,
My filthy decision,
I can't give consent,
To the painful incision,

A low cackle,
From the depths of memory,
Seems to escape me,
And I feel free,

I throw myself up,
Into the fire,
While my captor's scream
I fulfill my desire.

16-Line Poem: The Touch of a Finger

For in the darkness,
There shall linger,
A man who can kill,
With the touch of a finger,

He'll come in black,
With a vicious grin,
He'll ask you to be,
One of his kin,

You must not listen,
To his message of lies,
You must ignore,
The blood-curdling cries,

Obey what I say,
Take this to heart,
Don't let this man in,
Or the evil will start.
